Green building is a new type of building that does not damage the basic ecological balance conditions of the environment during the construction period, and consumes significantly less material and energy during the survival period than traditional buildings. It can also be called sustainable development building, ecological building, returning to nature building, energy conservation and environmental protection building, etc.
The basic connotation of green building can be summarized as: reducing the load of building on the environment, namely saving energy and resources; providing safe, healthy and comfortable living and working space; being compatible with the natural environment, achieving the harmonious coexistence and sustainable development of people, buildings and the environment.
