ISO9001 is one of the core standards of quality management system included in ISO9000 standards. ISO9000 family standard is a concept put forward by international organization for Standardization (ISO) in 1994. It refers to the international standard formulated by ISO / TC176 (quality management and quality assurance technical committee of international organization for Standardization). ISO9001 is used to verify the organization's ability to provide products that meet customer requirements and applicable regulatory requirements, with the purpose of improving customer satisfaction. With the continuous expansion and internationalization of commodity economy, in order to improve the reputation of products, reduce repeated inspection, weaken and eliminate technical barriers to trade, safeguard the rights and interests of producers, distributors, users and consumers, this third certification party is not supported by the economic interests of both sides of production and marketing. It is notarized and scientific. It is the passport for countries to evaluate and supervise the quality of products and enterprises As the basis for the customer to audit the supplier's quality system, the enterprise has the ability to meet the technical requirements of its ordered products. All certified enterprises have reached international standards in the integration of various management systems, indicating that they can provide customers with expected and satisfactory qualified products continuously and stably. From the perspective of consumers, the company is customer-centric, can meet customer needs, achieve customer satisfaction, and does not induce consumers.
With the development of international trade and problems in the implementation of standards, especially the proportion of service industry in the world economy is growing. Because the standard absorbs the advanced quality management concept in the world and adopts PDCA cycle quality philosophy, it has strong practicality and guidance for both the supplier and the demander of products and services. Therefore, as soon as the standard is published, it is widely welcomed by all countries in the world. So far, more than 70 countries have directly adopted or equivalent to the corresponding national standards, and more than 50 countries have established quality system certification / registration institutions, forming a worldwide "hot" of standards implementation and certification. At present, hundreds of thousands of factories, enterprises, government agencies, service organizations and other organizations in the world have introduced ISO9000 and obtained the third-party certification.
Iso9001:2015 was officially released in September 2015, and this major revision incorporates changes based on feedback from global users and experts.
